Lighting the Way: Newfoundland and Labrador Lighthouses

Lighthouses’ flashing lights have guided ships safely along our rugged coasts for over two hundred years. They light the way for mariners in dark, foggy and stormy conditions. Many of our distinctive lighthouses have become beloved and picturesque provincial icons. This small exhibition highlights stories of lighthouses and light keepers over time.
