Endless Forms Most Beautiful - The Lichen Biodiversity of Newfoundland and Labrador

You may have heard of "old-man's beard" or "moldow" that hangs from our trees in long pendulous strands. These are just some of the hundreds of lichens that adorn the landscape of Newfoundland and Labrador. Please join us to hear from guest speaker, John McCarthy and discover the intricate, symbiotic world of lichens that add splash and colour to our province's biodiversity.

Tickets: $12 plus HST. Free for Rooms members. Get your tickets online or by calling 709-757-8090.
