The Life and Times of… (Grade 7-12)

Students use copies of original documents from The Rooms Provincial Archives to explore the stories of individuals who lived in Newfoundland and Labrador during the late 1800s and early 1900s. From the Spanish Flu, The First Five Hundred, Chinese immigration, and the Churchill River - they all have a story to tell. Students will also receive a tour of one of our galleries to see how archival materials enhance our understanding of the past.

One class per booking. 30 students max per class.

No cost. Schools are responsible for transportation and adequate supervision.
