Movie Poster

The Titanic movie poster was presented to the staff of The Rooms Provincial Archives by Ms. France Smiledge, a researcher with the Public Relations Department of Paramount Pictures, Hollywood California. It is in recognition of the services that staff provided to her during her research for the production of the movie Titanic in 1997.

The note on Paramount Pictures letterhead accompanying the poster is as follows:

Dear Judy, Joan & Alan, and anyone else who helped me on the Titanic research. I truly appreciate it. My project is just about over. I plan to come to Newfoundland in August. I want to meet you all – one Newfie to another!
